worms

my 4 yr old had worms a month ago and was treated with 2 doses of vermox. I seem to be having tit now- itchiness round the anus area especially at night and nausea, am going to deworm today but i am so concerned and worried about my 3 month old baby, How would i know if she has it and how is it treated?

It appears that your 4 year old is being repeatedly infected with pinworms.Pinworms are always carried by humans and not animals, so it could be another child or person at the school your child attends who is passing the eggs of the pinworms to your child.These eggs can also occur in sand pits.Your child needs to be given another single dose of Vermox syrup.Your 3 month old is very unlikely to be infected.
