Hi Dr
My 11 month old recently had a bout of gastro and was in hospital for 2 days. He was discharged but two days after being discharged he still had an upset tummy (about 1 stool per hour and right through the night). Yesterday my paed prescribed medication (can''t remember the name - it was a powder sachet) to settle the tummy. This worked and his tummy has since settled. His stools are still very soft but not frequent. My concern is that he has allot of wind and I think his tummy is sore. Last night I had my hand on his tummy and I could feel it bubbling but I have no idea what to give him for this. Would telement and other baby wind medicines work for an 11 month old?

It would help to only give your baby the probiotic. Once the 'good' bacteria are back in his bowel his windiness and discomfort should be less. If he persists with his windiness he may have a temporary lactose intolerance and may need to be on a soya formula for about 4 weeks.
