WINDS

I am concern about my baby boy because he passes winds and at night when he sleeps,he sleep on his stomach like he is bending.He is 23mnths old and I give him nido with other solid foods.He is coughing and doctor said he has brochittis.He wakes up at night cring.What can be the problem?

The excessive winds may be due to lactose intolerance. Stop the Nido and see if he improves. Try him completely off milk for a full week to see if this helps him.Give him other fluids such as rooibos tea and dilute fruit juices in addition to his normal diet. He also has a bad cold now so keep his nose clear using Salex nose drops twice a day and especially before he goes to sleep at night.
