Q.

white substance next to sternum

my baby has a tiny white hard something below her lower lip on the gum next to the sternum.when you feel it it feels like the hardness of a tooth,what could it be?she is 7months old

It is difficult to be sure without being able to see your baby but this may be a small cyst on her gum. If it is on the top of her gums then it is a sign that a tooth is coming through there, but if it on the front of her gums it is more likely to be a small cyst. These cysts usually disappear by themselves without any treatment.
