Q.

When to go to Doctor

Hello,

My four month old has a wet cough and a runny nose. The mucous is clear. How do I know if it has gone into his chest?

I also want to know when I should take him to the Doctor, coz a Paed. appointment takes 2-3 weeks.

I am giving him 1ml of Mucospect 3 times a day and am using a saline nose spray 3 times a day. This is the second day of the treatment, I don' t want it to get worse so am not sure of the time frame to wait to see if it improves.

As long as your baby is not showing any sign of being short of breath and can sleep well and feed well there is no need for concern. You are treating your baby son's illness correctly.
