Q.

WHEAT ALLERGIC BABY

I HAVE JUST DISCOVERED MY BABY IS ALLERGIC TO WHEAT, SOYA BEAN AND LACTOSE.

I NEED TO KNOW WHICH FOODS WILL BE BEST FOR HIM IN ORDER FOR HIM TO GROW LIKE A NORMAL BABY.
HE IS 8MNTHS OLD.
HE LIKES NIBBLING ON THESE PURITY BISCUITS WHICH HIS DOCTOR SAID I MUST STOP.
AND HE ENJOYS THEM SO MUCH.

I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ALTERNATIVES FOR SUCH THINGS
BISCUITS, CEREAL.
MILK ATLEAST I GOT FOR KNOW.
BUT WHAT MILK SHOULD I GIVE HIM ONCE HE IS 1 YEAR OLD?

You actually have quite a problem here with your baby son being diagnosed as being allergic to wheat, soya and possibly to cow's milk.It is not a simple matter to advise you about a diet. In particular avaoiding wheat is always difficult. What formula is he on?If he is only lactose intolerant he can use a formula such as NAN LF, but if he is actually allergic to milk he may need a special formula such as Similac Alimentum.In any case it is adviseable for you to see a nutritionist/dietician about a safe diet for your baby
