what is the right age to wean my toddler from day/night bottle

hi i would like to know what is the right age to wean my toddler 20months from his day/night bottle and also his pacifier. could you please help dont know when is the right time. thanks

Your child will usually decide for himself. He is getting to the age when he can stop his night bottle now and by 2 years should only be having about 2 cups of milk a day.

I made the dummy disappear at 23 months for one child and, this week, at 25 months, for the other. Both only had it available in their beds for sleep and have taken it in their stride! I did not do anything drastic, just said that I did not have it, when they asked and no worries!

As for the bottle, I can' t help, as I breastfed up to nearly a year with both and went directly onto a sipper cup from there.
I think in both cases us mums are far too stressed about when to do what! The most important thing: once you decide that it is time, it must be final...else your trouble will really start from there!
