What foods - no teeth???? Please

Afternoon doc

You have always been of great help, but I once more need your help please.

My LB has turned 9 months already and still has no teeth (this is not a problem for me). What other foods can I give him besides gems, potato, cauliflower, sweet potato, pumpkin and butternut? He doesn' t like carrots at all - I have tried quite a few times. I started giving him purity beef and chicken so that he can get used to meats as well (as you recommended to me in a previous post) and he likes it. Please, I' m scared of giving finger foods as I am very scared of choking and I do not have a blender or liquidizer.

Thanking you in advance.

I agree with you that as your baby does not have any teeth yet, you need to give him soft foods still. You are doing well with a wide range of foods. Do not give him carrot which he doesnt like. You could give him more fruit.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that he refuse to his Mabele pap, oats pap or mealie meel pap. I think its the textures.

I tried mashed rice and pumpkin, but he vomited all that out.

Please doctor, Im desperate as my LB is still basically just living on formula. He needs to get in much more solids.
