weight issue

Good day Doctor
My son weighs 6.5kg at 12 weeks and i think he is overweight. He is on breastmilk and the clinic and the nurses said i should feed on demand, he is currently feeding every 4 hours. He was 3.5 kgs at birth and 52cm tall. What can i do to help him slow down in terms of weight gain?
thank you

Your baby is just slightly above the average weight for a baby boy of 12 weeks. There is absolutely no need for any concern. Your baby son is doing very well.

Mercia, my baby was also born premature. Dont worry about the late developement, thats normal, soon he''l catch up. At 15 months I use to put him in a baby walker because he couldnt walk and I couldnt carry him all the time. He was also very small for his age. Ten years later, he is such a big boy now. So it proves that there is no need for concern.

My grandson was born at 6 months premature. He is now 10 months old and still very small for his age. He cannot sit by himself, roll from side to side or hold his own bottle or toys. Could you please advice.
