Q.

Weight gain

Hi Doc,

My LG is 9mnths and weighs 8.20kg. Is this okay for a 9month old? I started her on solids at 5.5months and since then she' s never been a big eater. She only eats about 5-7 tsp of porridge/cereal. Purity she doesn' t normally finish the 120g bottle. Even with her milk feed she still drinks out of the small bottle only 100ml. Is this normal for a 9month old? How can I improve her eating?

Thanking you in advance.

Your baby girl's weight is just slightly below the average for her age which is 8.5kg. There is no reason for concern and in any case there is no way of increasing her appetite as such.
