weight

My son is now 16 weeks old and weighs 8.600kg. At the clinic they say he is overweight. he is being breastfed. What can we do?

I really need to know about your baby son's length in order to be able to answer your question properly. His weight is certainly above the average for his age, but he may just be a very big boy who is thriving on breast milk.You should obviously continue to breast feed him and do not start solids until he is 6 months old unless he starts becoming hungry soon after a feed or between feeds.
