Hi Doctor

My son turned 6 months last week and he weighs 8.1kg. is this weight ok for his age, as i worry that he might be underweight. i just started him on rice cereal and he is on breastmilk.

normally how much weight does a 6 month baby weighs?

Thanks

Your baby's weight is exactly on the average on the infant growth charts for his age so there is no need for concern.
