WATER

Dear Prof

At what age is it safe to give my baby plain cooled off water and how much should he get a day?

Babies do not really need extra water especially if they are breast fed. However most baies strat getting small amounts of water once they start on solids. A few sips twice a day in addition to their normal feeds is all that is required.
