Q.

Warts on 2.5 year old boy

My son of 2.5 years old has a wart (i think) on his shoulder blade and another one appering just bellow. Should I seek treatment or are otc medicines safe to use?

These are probably not warts but a skin rash caused by a virus which is called 'molluscum'. There is no successful treatment and the molluscum will clear up by itself but can take as long as 18 months to do so in some cases.The rash is catchy to other children and your son must not bath in the same bath with other children.
