Q.

walking ring

my daughter is 8 months old and when you place her on her tummy she cries , I've tried everything to encourage her to crawl , now my mother in-law wants me to buy a walking ring , does a walking ring affect a child development if she does not crawl at all .

Some babies skip crawling altogether and just start walking when they are old enough, but most crawl by the age of 10 months. There is no need to try and 'teach' her to crawl as she will do so by hereself. Do not use a walking ring.
