Q.

Walking

Hi there

Hope you will be able to help!

My daughter is 13 months old and has been walking for about a month and a half. She is already quite steady on her feet.

We have noticed that her feet point inwards when she walks (especially on the right hand side). Is this a reason for concern?

My mother-in-law says we should take her to a podiatrist as my husband walked the same and had to wear special shoes to correct it.

Thanks!

This can be perfectly normal now. Wait and see what happens when your daughter has been walking for longer. The best time would be at 18 months. If she is still walking like this ask your paediatrician to assess her.
