Vomiting after dinner

My son is 14 months old. For 2 nights in a row this has happend. I pick my son up from creche, we get home about 5:15pm, than I start feeding him dinner (the meals differ). He really is not that hungry as I can see that he is tired. He eats a bit with a lot of patience. As we are sitting there he starts to vomit everywhere, it spews out. THe first night I picked him up &  ran to the bathroom, where he vomited again. Then I bathed &  fed him some other food. Last night the exact same thing happend. I bathed him &  he ate a little bit of appel purity as I thought that would be light on his stomach. All I can smell is acid. I am really worried why this is happening. I have however noticed that he is congested, so I suction him, he has a lot of yellow mucus come out, I have started putting eucoluptus in the room &  spray with Drinasal, please help.. as I am so worried.... Thanx

This could be the result of a postnasal mucous drip which can irritate your baby's stomach and cause vomiting. There are many causes of vomiting in babies of this age.If your baby's nose is blocked put saline nose drops in his nose at least twice day to clear the congestion. If this is not the main problem and his vomiting continues please ask your paediatrician to see him.
