This is an essential supplement that is given to ppremature babies to prevent the onset of a bone deficiency condition called rickets. In the form that you are giving Vitamin D to your baby, the Calciferrol aids in the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and helps the bones to take up these two essential substances for bone growth and strength.
