Q.

Vitamin b12 injection for kids

My daughter aged 9 ,athlete and competes in cross country ,she has been sick the last two weeks ,under performing and with the SA champs nearing we need to boost her body ,would like to know if she is too young to have a VIT B12 injection?If she is allowed to ,what would the correct dosage be?

This is not advised and is not necessary. Many foods such as fish, beef, mutton, eggs and cheese are rich in Vitamin B12 and the body's stores of Vitamin B12 are usually very well maintained in young people.
