Q.

Vit A drops

I received a letter from my day mother regarding Vit A drops that are going to be administered by the department of health. They will be doing their rounds on Monday the 8 Sept. I would like to know: my son is scheduled for a tonsilectomy on Thursday the 11 September, will it be OK for him to get the drops before the op? I have to fill in the consent forms. My son is 3 years old. Please advise.
