Virus infection the second time?

Hi My dogther is 3. very tiny and petite. This is the second time this year she got a virus infection. I don''t want her to get it again. Can we test her for something, like cancer. In her first 2year she has never been sick. At that time I was a stay at home mom. She doesn''t get sick so this worries me that it is the second time this year. what is it and why does she only get ''n fever syrup? thank you

Virus infections are common in preschool children who are adjusting to the many viruses they are exposed to every day. The fact that your daughter has been well up to now is because she was at home last year and was not exposed to infections. She does not need to be tested and certainly does not have cancer. She is given a medicine for fever because she should not be given anything stronger and should not have antibiotics which do not work against viruses.
