Shyness in a baby of this age is very normal. Babies cling to their mothers for protection and comfort. She will change as she gets older. The yellow discolouration may be due to excessive amounts of carotene in her diet such as in pumpkins, carrots and squashes. It is not harmful in any way and disappears with time.
