Please advise, it has been six days since i' ve commenced my 6 mth old on solids (rice cereal), he is also on treatment for Nephritis and had a bout of lactose intolerance in September therefore he has been on Isomil since even though intolerance tests were negative.Paediatrician wants him to be off dairy for the first year, nephrologist says we can give him veg / fruit cos he is a growing baby. My question is : What other variety cereals/ foods can i offer him other than the rice cereal ( where i add his milk)and fruit and veg such as apple, Pear Purity ( which i haven' t started yet). Or is this fine for now?

This is sufficient for now but due to your baby requiring a special diet it would be best to consult a qualified dietician to advise you as your baby son gets older and his dietary requirements change.
