Q.

Vaccines

Hi Dr
Just a quick last minute question. My little boy is two and a half and all his immunizations are up to date. He had his MMR at 15 months and his last booster six months ago.
I got a letter from his playgroup saying that the health department will be giving polio and measle vaccines at the school. I am a little nervous about having have a additional immunizations. Should I be? Is it safe and is it necessary to let them give him the vaccines?
Once again, thank you for your time and valuable advise!

You are welcome. There is no need for your little boy to have these immunizations again if he had his boosters 6 months ago.
