Q.

Vaccine - Pneumococcal Disease

My baby is now 4 months old, is it too late to get this vaccine as I know it is given at 6/10/14 weeks? At the govt. clinic they advised that the vaccine could only be given at exactly six weeks and not more than two days over so my little one didn' t get it as I had taken him a few days later. If he can still get this vaccine I am considering taking him to a private clinic/doctor.

Your baby can certainly still have this vaccine and in fact you are strongly advised to have him immunised against pneumococcal infections.
