Q.

Vaccine and a cold

My baby must go for her measles vaccine on the 15th. She started a cold over this weekend, and I can remember that they said at the clinic that we shouldn' t have vaccines done when they are sick. She seems a lot better already, but I don' t know how long I should wait before it is safe to have the vaccine.

Your baby should have recovered from her cold long before the 15th January. As long as she does not have a fever and she seems to be quite well again she can have her next immunisation done.
