My son is now 5 and a half. On his chart it was never indicated if he had the chichen pox and Hep A injections, I asked the places where I have taken him before but it was never stipulated. But I think that I have taken him for everything, Al his other stuff is up to dat?

Will something happen if he gets both of them again? Even if he had them before?

If your son has not had chicken pox yet he can have the chicken pox vaccination now. He can also have the hepatitis A immunisation now, but he will need two doses for it to be effective. If he had these immunisations before, which is unlikely,it is safe to repeat them, but he would only need one hepatitis A injection.

Hi Sam

The chicken pox and Hep A vaccines are not part of the normal vaccination schedule. You need to specifically ask for it. So your son probably didn''t have it.
