Q.

UTI in 3yr old son

Hi My son made a wee this morning and after the stream of wee came a milkish whitish, liquid. He is only 3 yrs old could he have a bladder infection he is part of a creche. he has no fever, is not irritable, eats well, goes to the loo regularly and he does not complain of any burnig sension.
Does he need to see a Doctor?

This may be quite normal and may simply be due to certain substances in your son's urine and is a one off thing. To be on the safe side though it would be best just to have his urine tested to make sure that it is clear and that there is no sign of infection.
