Using bottled water for formula

I am concerned about the quality of water from our taps. Although I have had the galvanised water pipes in our ceiling replaced with copper, the pipes in the walls are still galvanised and I am concerned that fractions of oxidised metal may enter baby' s bottles when making up formula. Would you recommend using bottled water for making up formula? If so, which brand? There are so many brands out there and they all have similar but different contents, especially the Total Dissolved Solids. (Obviously I will boil and cool the bottled water first since baby is only 5 weeks old)

It is usually completely unnecessary to use bottled water as in most areas in SA the water quality is very good. You seem to have a unique problem and I would not be happy about using the water from your tap for your newborn baby. It would be best to use a good quality water such as Valpre.
