Urine - Smell and Colour

My 3 year old has very smelly urine and the colour is almost bright yellow. She drinks alot of water during the day but also has a lot of fruit, normally 3-5 a day. What can be the cause of this. Do I have cause for concern? Sometimes she will even tell me that her vaginal area hurts and when I look she has a slight discharge. I wash her panties with pure sunlight soap and nothing else, I have also advised her not to use soap when she is washing down there. What else can I do?

It is possible that your little girl has a urinary system or bladder infection or she may have a candida infection of her vagina. Please ask your doctor to test her urine and also to make sure that she does not have a vaginal infection.
