Q.

Urinating

Hi doc, my LO is 5 years old. He often wets the bed at night even though I take him to the loo about 2 to3 times in the night. I have also noticed that he sometimes urinate a little and then again after about 5 minutes. I made a point to watch his routine over the weekend and I am worried now. It looks like his bladder does not empty completely and then he have to go again after a short while.

Should I take him to a Urologist of Pead? Please any advise, this can' t be normal.

Thanks,

You are correct as this does not appear to be a normal way of passing urine. It would be best to take your son to a urologist preferably a paediatric urologist.
