Urgent - please help

Hi Dr,
We took our daughter to the paed, Dr Vermeulen last monday the 30/08 as she was wheezing (she had rsv in April etc). Her ears, throat and all was perfect. He said the wheezing was probably viral - maybe flu virus. He said i should use the sterrimar as usual (also she is on the Serritide pump) which i had been doing. He said he was going to prescribe zithromax but i was only to use it if her temperature went up again or didnt improve. I didnt use it as she seemed better and never got another temp in that week. However on Saterday out of the blue her temp went up to 38.6 - i gave her Ponstil and it came down. She was then fine. But then last night at 1 she woke with a 38.8 temp again - sneezing again and snotty nose (which has now turned yellow which it wasnt last wee at Paed) and her chest is phlegmy....
she isnt a child that gets temps - she is 20 months old and had a temp 2ce in her life before now and she has got a temp3 times in two weeks which to me seems like an infection? Have we done the right thing to give her the Zithromax - 5ml x 3 days. i must be honest i looked it up on the internet and i dont like the sound of it. thank you so much...

You have definitely done the right thing. You gave the Zithromax according to the advice of your excellent paediatrician.
