The 12 month immunisation is for Hepatitis A. At the most your baby may possibly have had a mild fever for one or two days after the injection. It is highly unlikely that your baby could have developed the illness you descibe here more than 1 week after the imminisation was given. This illness appears to be a severe viral illness and the fact that he has sores in his mouth suggests that it was caused by a herpes virus infection. Fortumately he is getting better now.
