Unknown rash

Dear Doc

My 10y old son has what seems like a rash between his eyebrows. Initially I thought it was eczema - but none of the usual treatments for that helped. It is not acne. I was wondering if it could be some kind of wart? He does have small little warts on his knees and elbows. It does not really look like molloscum contagiousa either - the lesions are to small and fine. It does not worry him - occasionally it itches, but it looks unsightly. Do you perhaps know what it could be?

It is always difficult to diagnose a rash without being able to see your son.His rash does not sound like an eczema rash.Because psoriasis sometimes starts in this area in children it would be best to take him to see a dermatologist. There are other possible conditions such as seborrhoea and a fungal rash. He has not responded to any treatment so far so it is important to make a diagnosis.
