Your son' should weigh over 12 kg now. His weight is on the so-called 2nd percentile for his age, this means that he falls in the lowest 2% of the population of male children of his age. This should set alarm bells ringing. If you read my answers to parents you will have noticed that I always inform parents that they need a proper diagnosis of their child's problem and this applies to your son as well. Please have him checked by a paediatrician who will spend time trying to find out what is wrong here. It may be that your son has a nutritional problem such as coeliac disease.
