Q.

underweight toddler?

my 3yr old grand daughter weighs 10.8kgs only and is 90cm tall.her birthweight was 3.4kg,She had grommets at 9months. she is not a fussy eater but has a poor appetite, she has not grown in height for 1 year. Any suggestions?

As a 3 year old your granddaughters's weight and failure to grow are of great concern. She must be seen by a paediatrician as she may ahave a condition which affects growth such a renal condition called the Fanconi syndrome.
