Q.

underweight

my 5 year old daughter seems so skinny cpmpared to a few months ago.the last time i visited a paed, he said she had iron deficiency and has dark rings under her eyes but she gets constipated easily so we cant give her supplements so we try iron rich food....is there a problem if she is thinner than usual. she is active, eats well and doesnt have concentration problems but is skinny. her father thinks she can pick up weight by eating fatty foods although i dont think its the healthier option. wat do u suggest?

What I would like you to do is to weigh your daughter and let me know what she weighs. It would also help a lot if you could measure her height.Let me know what these readings are and I will be please to advise you further.
