Q.

Tummy Problem

My 13 month is suffering with a runny tummy on and off for about 3 weeks but for the last two days it seems be rather watery and has the most terrible smell.

She was on NAN HA but we recently changed (about 2 weeks ago) to Nido is it possible that it is the nido that is causing the tummy? At the moment she does not seem to want her bottle at all and spits out the milk (HA AND Nido) but seems to drink the tea I put in her cup

I can also see she is getting nauses at times but I think it could be from her runny nose.

Should I change her back to the HA or could I leave the milk for now?

It appears that your baby is reacting to the Nido. She was well on NAN HA which is a hypoallergenic formula, but developed diarrhoea when started on the Nido. You should stop the Nido and give her the NAN HA again until she is at least 15 months old. At that stage you can see if she can tolerate the Nido or other growth formula such as Parmalat First growth milk.

Take baby to a paed, she may have a tummy bug. The poop needs to be tested
