Q.

Trying Formula

Hi dr, needed to find if its ok to start my 2 week old baby on a Soya based formula ie. Isomil when introducing the bottle Or do I need to try other formula' s before going for a Soya based formula?

You should not use a soya formula now unless there is a very good reason why your baby cannot have a cow's milk formula. Please let me know the reason and I will advise you what to do.

Thanks dr, I bought Isomil because my elder child was lactose intolerent and therfore could not drink cows milk. I therefore assumed that my second baby may also be lactose intolerent but have not tried any fomula as yet to find out. I am currently breastfeeding but feel she is not getting enough milk.
