This is going to be a very long trip for such a young baby. It is usually best to wait until babies are at least 3 months old before travelling by air but I suppose you have to travel now.The main problem babies experience with flying is the effects of the changes in air pressure on their ears while they are in the aircraft cabin. This is most noticeable during taking off and landing. Other effects are mainly related to changes in time zones and upsetting your baby's routine. Put a drop of an infant saline nose drop in your baby's nose before each landing and be sure to be feeding your baby during take offs and landings. Start feeding when the pilot announces that the plane is about to start the descent.
