Q.

Tonsillitis

Morning doctor

My baby boy is 7 months old now and had several tonsillites with runny nose and cough. He has been on 5 different antibiotics/penicilin altogetherand I don' t think that it is good for my baby. Is there a good vitamin supplement that I can use to build up his immune as he is at a daymother. I' ve heard that some of these vitamin syrup' s can make them either nauseous or giving them diarrea. He is currently on Isomil and is eating his food, although when he is sick, he doesn' t want his food or milk. Please advice me with a good vitamin supplement.

Rather than a vitamin supplement it would be best to give your baby a probiotic such as Reuteri drops 1ml daily. This will aid in increasing your baby's resistance to infection.
