Q.

Tongue

I have heard of kids (people) having something called tongue-tied. My questions is, what is the opposite of tongue-tied. My boy has what looks like a v-shaped hole/indent below the tongue. I don''t know if it something I should be concerned about or if it needs to be checked.

Paediatrician

This is probably normal and is known as a 'forked lingual frenulum' There is usually nothing that needs to be done about this. If you remain concerned ask your paediatrician to see your son.
