Q.

Toilet troubles

I have a son who is almost 4 years old. He does not wear nappies but refuses to poo in the toilet. It has become such an issue now, and no matter how hard we try to get him to use the toilet he wont. Also the school hes at are getting irritated with the situation and changing him. We dont know what to do from here. Do we start putting nappies back on him? What else can we do?

Your son is getting to the age where he will have difficulty at school if he is not toilet trained. You are going to have to let him wear pull-ups for a while until you can get him toilet trained. There are many replies to parents about toilet training for this age group and information on Google as well.It takes lots of patience and the need to use a reward system to get things right.
