Toilet trouble

My son is 4 1/2 and has been potty trained for almost 2 yrs. He has always been lazy to go to toilet on time. These past feww months its getting worse and he is always messing cause he doesnt get to the toilet on time. I have to basically drag him to toilet as he always denies that he has to go and runs away when I ask him to go. Last night he wet his ppants twice cause he could take his pants off in time. I am feeling very upset about this and hate getting mad with him esp for this prob. Could there be something wrong or is it just plain lazziness??

Thank you

This is not due to laziness. Usually there is something worrying children who after being potty trained for quite a while suddenly start doing this. Often the problem is at school where bullying may be the cause. Speak to your son and try to find out what is worrying him. If you are unsuccesssful it may be best for him to see a child psychologist.
