Toddler with red/sore privates

My 2.5 year old daughter has been complaining of a sore fanny, and the outer lips are very red, she only wears one nappy at night so it can''t be napPy rash, and besides, it doesn''t look like it. It lOoks more like a bad sun burn. What could it be?

This sounds like a candida rash. GIve your daughter a good probiotic such as Probiflora Children's once daily for 10 days. Apply Nystatin cream to her rash and it should clear up.
