Q.

toddler with dry skin

Hi Doc

My 2 year old baby girl has a very dry skin on her kness. when she was a year old the doc suggested that she might have eczema but the lotions that he prescribed didn''t help at all. I took him to another doctor last week who suggested that we wash her with Epi-Wash soap and don''t put any lotion. Still that doesn''t help. Her knees are very dry and the legs also. Could she be allergic to dairy products, she loves yoghurt, cheese, custard and she drinks long life milk.

Thanks

This is a form of eczema and usually follows on contact with grass or crawling or kneeling on certain kinds of carpet. You can bath your little girl using Epizone E as a soap substitute. Apply Epimax to her areas of dry skin afterwards.
