Q.

Toddler - spots on cheeks

My son is 17 months old. He has the loveliest rosy cheeks, but lately he has these little spots on them. It starts out as tiny red spots but later turns into small whiteheads.
I don’ t want to use something that might be harmful, it there anything you can suggest? I have been using Nutraderm on his face as I thought it might be the other lotions causing this, but it still doesn’ t go away.

Your young son appears to have rather sensitive skin. Do not use any soap on his face.Only use a soft, moist facecloth to wipe his face. Also do not use vaseline or any other kind of lotion or cream on his face. Soemthing is causing temporary blocking of the pores of his skin on his face and this leads to this mild rash.
