Q.

Toddler reflux

Good day

My son was born with reflux. He was taking Nestargel in his milk up until about 4 months ago with no vomiting again since. He is now 21 months old &  since last week has gone off his food and he has started vomiting this week. Could this be the reflux reurning again? Should I take him to his paed or is there an over-the-counter med I can give him?
Thank you

This is probably not due to reflux rthis time. A common cause in this age group for the symptoms that you describe here is a tonsil infection. It is always important to find the reason why a child vomits like this so it would be best to consult your doctor.
