Q.

tics

My 10 year old boy gets tics (head movements of his neck) when he has to read and would hold his head with both had to prevent this when he reads. He also get tics when he get stressed and then his sister would tell him to stop it as it irratates her if he does that but he can' t quite control it. I don' t really want to put him on meds if its unnecessary. I don' t think it effect his schoolwork as his avarage is above 80%. Should I be concerned about this? And what cause it and can it be controlled?
