Q.

thumb-sucker

Hi,
my 15+ months old daughter has this terrible habit of vigorously sucking her thumb,we noticed it when she was a few months old,i did' nt introduce a dummy early and when i did,she was' nt interested in using it,neither did i breast feed for up to 6months(stopped at about 5moths with 3 months exclusive).
What can i do to stop this habit because its changing the shape of her upper jaw,the upper teeth seem to be sticking out. Please help.

This is a very difficult habit to break. In most cases babies and young children simply stop sucking theitr thumbs by themselves.
